Hi all,

We've had a few cases where customers have run up against a known issue
with trying to "save" or "save as..." Office 2007 documents to a network
share. So far I have been unable to find any solution. It is not a
universal issue, and we have been unable to reproduce the error here.
All fixes that I have skimmed from discussion forums recommend turning
off some local client application or feature. These have so far
included:

BitDefender, or anti-virus applications in general
Offline file indexing (turn off or restore default settings)
Offline files
Beta or other micro-release versions of Office 2007

The issue is well-discussed here:

If anybody comes across new information about this, or finds some other
"fix" that customers can try, send it to me and I'll put it on the Wiki.

Thanks,
Rich
